I just started with a company as an HR Generalist. Within the 3 weeks of being there, my boss’s boss left, and today I found out my boss gave notice. HR is not valued at the company and it’s disheartening to know I was hired into a mess. Is there any issue, if the designation at the time of offer is different than that of relieving? Asking because, I am leaving IBM GBS, have told my designation as Senior software engineer ( offer letter had it) to the other company, but got to know that designation IBM will be writing on relieving letter will be application developer.

I will be joining IBM next week in Bangalore ( physical onboarding ) and my hometown is in West bengal , My father is having health problems , mother won't be able to handle everything and no such person we can rely on . Also I am getting married in January . Hence If i stay in Bangalore there will be no one to take responsibility for my marriage prep also . If i convey to my ibm manager will they consider for 4months of WFH?Any documents may have to show?
