I'd like to know from the other creative directors (agencies) on the bowl - how much emphasis and time do you allot for your art team to edit and recoup their work. I've faced resistance as well as massive success in getting my creative team to EDIT their work, but I've also heard it's very demoralizing. What's your stance?

Are you talking about editing as in cutting a spot? Or editing as in reducing the number of ideas presented? Or making edits to concepts they’ve presented? Or something else? Wasn’t clear what’s coming off as demoralizing?

Get the work to the decision makers sooner than later. Nothing worse than 5 rounds of comments, then you get notes from the CMO the day before the launch.

Good points raised on what is exactly meant. But my assumption is just on reworking something that is already done or close to being done. It’s not out of the ordinary that some tweaking is necessary at the end, but if it’s an excessive amount of reworking, that can be a drag on the team.

Starting to restore old watches as a hobby (not for profit). Any suggestions where I can buy some pieces which need repair / service? I am still learning. So it doesn’t have to be fancy. I tried eBay and Chrono24 but didn’t have much luck. Feel free to recommend a local store in NYC.
