Thoughts on leaving PA primarily due to the metrics based culture (utilization, dtc, use of X digital tool, revenue, margin, etc). I find this aspect of PA stressful and exhausting but not sure if this is something you just get used to. Currently a manager and seems like the metrics just change over time / don’t get easier.

I am planning to leave my firm after busy season and I am wondering if I should let them know this is my last busy season or stay quite and just give my 2 weeks after busy season? What’s typical base salary increase from analyst to associate?

Due to obvious conditions my comp for the calendar year (salary+bonus) is back to 2017 levels although my overall sales are more than double and 1/3 less total comp than last year. It seems like comp opportunity is always decreasing during good times (I get it) but when it comes to adjusting during bad times, nothing was done. Is this normal for industry sales?

I'm assuming based on the average salary reported across these portals for principal that those figures apply to the RE group as well. I am asked during this RE analyst interview to build a real estate model from scratch. My background is commercial banking and I am used to analyzing real estate deals from the lender side not the developer. The interviewer is generous I must say he’s giving me a few days to complete. However this model is for a ground up multifamily development. I have no prior experience building one. I can find models online but all very complexe to reproduce. How would you handle? Do you have model to share?
