If I resign now notice period is 1 month, but if I complete 1 year notice period is 3 months?
My visa is not yet approved, I am confused now whether to resign or stay?
Is there any buy back notice if it is there what is the process?

I would tell them that they should look into potential career paths they would be interested in before deciding what they should study. It's important to pick something that you at least have some aptitude or curiosity for, but you should also be aware of the steps that it's going to take to materialize whatever vision you have for yourself.
Sure why not! I think its been a good career path for me and I am very glad I started out my career with a marketing degree because it did actually help me land my first role. Is there a reason that you wouldn't suggest it?
I was just curious to see what people here thought since some career specialists have labeled this field too competitive and overcrowded. Some treat this field like those that are very popular, such as acting, and tell students to instead study STEM (coding, engineering, etc) instead. I was wondering if current marketers felt the same
I'd definitely encourage them, I've enjoyed working in marketing so far so I don't see any reason for me to tell someone not to. I'd just want to make sure that they're comfortable talking with people and not super quiet, since it can make it harder to be successful if they are on the shy side.
