Hi #Urgent
Got the Offer Letter from Citi upon accepting I also received the Background Verification (BGV) mail.
which says I need to provide the relieving letter/experience letter. But the thing is I have not received it (it will take some time). I only have resignation acceptance letter.
Can we still proceed for bgv process and tell Citi that I will provide the relieving letter later on when i get it.
(already passed my LWD: 2nd nov)

I'm a Data scientist, and I'm recommending you to join Cloud computing and DevOps
Data scientist is already crowded with all beginners and below avg people..
You need atleast 2-3 year to be a good Data scientist, with deep understanding of stats, Data cleaning, etc.. else you will just be an avg guy with basic knowledge.
Cloud computing and DevOps you can learn within 1 years of time and be a professional in it...
But data science need time, u need to learn a lot from stats, various books... Taking 2-3 online course from udemy, Coursera, YouTube and copy pasting someone kaggle, GitHub project doesn't make u a good data scientist..
But you can still try- there are many dumb data scientist in many companies talking interviews and leading the team... If ur luck is good you can get offer and learn from there...
But as I said data science need atleast 3 years with 5-6 big enterprises end to end project experience to be a master...
But cloud and DevOps is easy within 1 years of study you can get good package
Sure...read it now ..had missed reading the part below... thank you again and I will definitely look into it.
go for data science, highly recommended.
can you share some project example that can be done as part of preparation
I would suggest to take basic fundamental free courses first on both topics, identify what interests you more and looks manageable to learn and then decide which direction you would like to proceed.
If you are thinking from good opportunities perspective, then Data Science, Cloud and DevOps both have decent opportunities if you become good at it. Even Data Engineering has more opportunities these days than Data Science as that comes before Data Science.
Data Science is vast and requires hold on many areas and needs consistent learning even after years you enter, so make sure have interest in it and not just go by marketing from various courses.
Looks like I really need to try this...thank you so much..I'll go through basics for both for a month and then decide.
Go for cloud computing. Data Science without coding and stats will take you another 1-3 years to feel comfortable in your domain. If you're ok with investing another 1-3 year in upskilling, go for data science, else cloud
Thank you so much..i will definitely need your help going forward.
