If an e-commerce company is using external providers (various embedded AI tools) with which customers will interact on the company’s site, how do you disclaim liability for the use of these tools in the T&C? Do you have to reference the external providers expressly in the T&C (so the users would know who they’re dealing with)? Is there a way to do it without express references? A bit new to this area and would appreciate any guidance/best practices.

Junior associate here, should I ask for more money if my firm is about 10-15 percent less hours but about 30 percent less pay? The gap will never be closed to the top pay scale at my firm but when I decided to come to this firm the pay difference was about 15 percent and not 30. Curious as to how many deals at once is typical for a first year associate to take on (M&A, mostly private equity clients). Deal size is lower middle market and I’ve worked on deals ranging from $1-$110M. 2 deals at once is plenty for me, but it seems like my peers are able to take on more than that at once and still do fine. Maybe I’m just a slow learner/out of my league at the big law firm I’m at.
