Hi Fishes, I am bit confused to pick the role in KPMG lighthouse as Sr Cloud Data architect or Saama technology as a Project lead. Money wise it is not a big difference. In KPMG I will work with partner where as in saama I will work with project/program manager. Please suggest your opinion. Saama KPMG KPMG India

I think it would be appropriate to reach out to your contact & let them know that you are disappointed that it didn't work out this time, but you would love to be considered for another position if something else opens up that you would be a good candidate for. You may also ask what type of experience, certifications, etc. might make you better qualified in the future.
I mean they didnt make a decision as to yes or no, its been radio silence on the portal just showing the application as complete. I was referred by someone for the position and as of last week they said they hadnt made any decisions yet regarding even first rounds.
Aw, that's tough because I know the first inclination is to wonder why you did not get the job and reach out to the branch (no matter what industry you're in) but I wouldn't expect an answer from them. Because it may not be you... maybe they hired someone more qualified, someone who they meshed with better, or maybe they had budget cuts and didn't hire anyone at all. If I were the hiring manager, I'd probably tell you that there's nothing you could improve on, that maybe you just weren't the right fit for the position and would let you know if anything changes. Good luck in finding your niche!
Absolutely. I always reach out. Things can fall through the cracks and it's also good to, as you said, keep yourself in the running for other positions that might open up
Of course, you can. But don't expect too much. I've done this a couple of times but they never replied. You can still try though. Best of luck :)
