Not liking a system doesn't mean you're incapable of using it. I've certainly used some systems I didn't like, and a few I would have burned to the ground had that been an option. So no, that doesn't mean you can't be coached. If your antipathy toward the company's system is so profound, however, perhaps it just isn't the job for you.
There is a difference between not liking a system and not understanding or being able to execute it. Both are valid things; figuring out which side you are on will probably answer that question.
You’re always going to run into things about your job you don’t like, but you do have choices:
1. If you have the ability to change them, change them.
2. If you can’t change them, learn to live with them or learn to work around them.
3. If you can’t live with them or figure out how to work around them in a way that is acceptable to the company, look for a new job.
