If I see one more we're hiring post from a firm that hasn't responded to an application in six months, I’m going to lose it. It’s clearly just brand marketing at this point to make the company look like it’s thriving while the actual recruiters are ignoring every qualified candidate. I even reached out to a Hiring Manager directly who told me they weren't actually filling the role until Q3. Why is it legal for companies to post ghost jobs just to farm our data?

I’d be annoyed too. Seeing “we’re hiring” everywhere while knowing the role isn’t actually being filled feels misleading. A lot of companies keep postings up for pipeline or optics, which is technically allowed, but it doesn’t make it any less frustrating when you’re the one putting in the effort.

I’ve never thought about these empty job listings being brand marketing. That actually makes so much sense. I’ve been wracking my brain trying to figure out why they would constantly be advertising jobs if they won’t even acknowledge an application.

I am an IT architect with 10 years of experience specifically in Salesforce products. I am thinking of moving from a strategy consulting role to an architecture role in Salesforce (company) itself. I have experience building tech strategies and also technical project delivery.

Wondering if it makes sense to apply for an Enterprise Architect (pre-sales) or a Senior Technical Architect role??

Also in terms of seniority and salary are these roles any different?

Hi everyone, I'm new to Canada and want to start my career here in the Financial and Banking industry. I have passed the CFA level 2 exam and was wondering if I have to complete the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) as most of the job postings here mention about it. I saw that if someone passes at least the CFA level 1 exam then the requirement of CSC is exempted. Can anyone enlighten me about this? As the CSC exam costs above 1000 CAD, I wanted to be sure if I need it before investing behind it.

I'm in finance/tech FPA, looking to go back to the defense industry for a 25% increase in TC. But wanted to see if I should leverage the new salary with current company to see if they'll match.

Background: got a promotion at current company that didn't come with sufficient increase . After stating my case I was told it would be evaluated next October, which is what prompted the initial job search.

Current TC 103K [88/15], offer 125k base [+discretionary bonus].
