How do you quiet your mind? I find my mind still races at night and I have trouble sleeping

Have you tried taking sleeping pills? If you communicate your problem to your superior, he will surely send you to therapy and they usually put pills to help us sleep.

Apparently, you have not communicated your insomnia problems, the most important thing is to communicate it to detect any possible anxiety problem in time, I invite you to do so. Likewise, in response to your question, I recommend you practice meditation and try to drink tea to help you sleep.

I usually read a book before going to sleep to calm my mind and stop thinking about so many things, it also helps me a lot to listen to some music.

If you are having a lot of difficulty sleeping, I recommend that you see a counselor who can help you and recommend some pills that can help you with your problem.

Saw my therapist this past Friday and he gave me a useful trick to build better behavior patterns. Whenever you have work to do but would rather nap or something, tell yourself 3 negative effects of the nap and 3 positive effects of doing the work. You might still take the nap, but if you can get in the habit of thinking of it negatively, you'll take less naps when you need to be doing other things.

Doesn't matter what the activities are. Could be working out vs eating more, could be socializing IRL vs wasting time in FB (lol)

Did you ever have any issues with your family questioning what you do and saying it wasn't a "real job" ? They think being a social worker is fluffy and I should have just become an "actual doctor or psychiatrist"

What misconceptions do you think people have about social work? or therapy?
Mine is my family still believes that only "sick" or unhappy people need to see a therapist, so they don't understand why I go to one since I have a job and a family. It's oldschool thinking and pretty annoying tbh.

Might be off topic, but guys please, take care of your health. I've been rejected by all companies in the last 2 months.
I had my Walmart interview today and it went really well. And guess what? I got a rejection email.
I felt dizziness while working and fell down today.
I had to go to the doctor due to the anxiety and stress I was carrying since the last 2 months. It has affected my health.

It's important to push yourself to achieve your goals, but don't forget to "Live" in the process.

I just got a really great offer, only downside is the eligibility for maternity leave is after 12 months of employment. We got a faint positive today but have had so many chemical pregnancies over the past year that I am not confident it will stick this time BUT I am on aspirin and progesterone for this try … so it could.. How much did you all pay for the 20 week ultrasound out of pocket? My 12 week ultrasound cost me $600 so I am guessing the 20 week one would be even more expensive. I have the high deductible plan from United healthcare.

Just to update, I am doing meditation since last 10-15 days only for 15 min daily gradually increasing the time I have started with 2-3 mins ... I can see changes in my mindset and energy.. I am loving it.. 😍😍😍

Whenever i have a big deadline, my body goes into a panic mode where my energy immediately goes to figuring out how I’ll get something done well and on time. I’m about a month post FET, and after a positive beta I was feeling all of the classic symptoms (like nausea) from like week 5-6. But, this last week the nausea has significantly subsided (though not completely gone). Has this happened to anyone? We have our first ultrasound in a week - so nervous!

Aww, bummed to see this is a dead bowl. Anyone still around?? Getting ready for our first internal off-site and I haven't seen the rest of my team in person for almost 3 years now. I'm more nervous about the new folks that I have only met via Teams, including my 1st-ever direct report.
