Have your own book.

Ideally yes. As long as we can. We have individual books as well. My question is about team books though.
Having your own book is a good idea. I’ve also seen it done where the pieces are just included in the regular portfolio and there’s a line specifying who did what.

thanks, I have my own book.
Create a separate section titled Solo Work.
Divide it by both partners’ names and populate it with each person’s solo work.
Am I missing something?

this I what we have now, just wanted to see if there were any more elegant alternatives
I don’t have one, but what if you had three sections? Team, you, partner? Also, do you have a solo book as well?

I’m a freelancer and I recently started teaming up with someone I’ve known for a long time, but with whom I had never worked before. We’ve only recently worked on a project together, but we vibed really well and found out we work really well together. We want to pursue more work as a team, but while we both have our own books, we have no work together to show (We haven’t produced this project yet. Once we do, it will be our first collaboration).
We’re thinking of making a PDF, sort of a “credentials and capabilities” type of thing to send out to recruiters, CDs and creative resource managers. This being on top of our individual books.
