Well median wage in the US is like $50k so if two people work then their hhi should be sufficient to buy a home...? You really only need a whole house if you are more than one person anyway so this seems reasonable...

I make 180 in the Bay Area and it will never happen for me 😅
I make $106k gross in Miami. If I were to buy a home my mortgage payment will be around $5k. That's not looking good for me. If I buy a condo/townhouse mortgage will be less but HoA fees increase all the time, some places say $600/month. I can't.
$5K a month sounds horrendous. Had no idea it was that bad.
Home ownership is not for everyone and it doesn’t need to be the gold standard. We glorify it unnecessarily.
Now everyone wants to be in the stock market like they are missing out - fomo. It’s okay to sit somethings out.
