YoE x 2 is the general expectation. Therefore for you that could be between 10lpa to 12 lpa. However this doesn't factor in the additional skill set, responsibilities that we handle. In my case, even the city of work also mattered.
Isn't that too low? I'm getting 8.5 LPA for one year of experience. Guys, please don't degrade yourself, compare salaries with your friends, so you can have a good idea. I know someone with 5 years getting 11lpa, and someone having 2.5 years of experience getting 14lpa. Mostly it is based on what you expect plus how good you can make the interviewer convince. DO NOT ALWAYS ASK FOR A 20 or 30% hike. Ask more, or else we will have to settle always to lesser salary
