Are you looking for better paying work to support your entrepreneurial ventures? Or are you ditching entrepreneurship in favor of becoming a full time employee? I guess the answer might not be all that relevant to your initial question, but I am curious. If it was me, I'd think strongly about getting into some kind of trade. There will likely be some amount of schooling required, but it won't be as expensive or onerous as going to college 4 years.

I think degrees are less important than they used to be. If you're looking into entrepreneurship, your experiences will be more than sufficient. Commission-only pay was a big fear for me moving from a stable, well-paying job into starting my own business, but it's been manageable.
