I’d look into the business end in depth to get ready for that step. What will you need for resources? What are your hard costs? Who does your HR, IT, bookkeeping? If you need to, talk to the SBA - they have business development offices that advise start-up companies on what they need to be successful. Also contact your state Bar - they likely have resources for solos just starting out like this.

As long as you have the ability to generate business, you should be OK. Just remember to keep your expenses very low the first six months or so. I didn’t pay myself until I had been open for nine months. It’s not that I couldn’t pay myself, I just decided to keep that money in the firm and put it into some marketing.

This makes total sense. I gotta figure out what my expenses are too when calculating this (mortgage, etc).

Is there a way to identify duplicate URLs within labeled hyperlinks on multiple columns/rows/cells?

I was thinking conditional format, but it’s identifying duplicate labels. I have over 80,000 cells, so extracting URLs manually isn’t going to work for me.

Thanks in Advance!

How normal is it to be pulled off a trial team because you tell your boss you are moving after trial? I have a trial coming up first week of Oct. Hi. I’m in need of advice and encouragement. I’m currently working as a public defender(2nd year) but I would love to pursue a solo private practice. I would like to leave the public defender because I am ready to make more money and I am no longer feeling the fulfillment I once felt. I have a family and work-life balance is a priority. What is a good way to gain experience in other areas of law as a solo practitioner? What areas of law are best for maintaining a work-life balance?

3 attorney firm. I’ve been here for 6 years and have used Westlaw exclusively. Now we are switching to Lexis because apparently Westlaw is too expensive. I hate change. I know where everything is on Westlaw and now I need to relearn. Apparently Westlaw will not budge on price and would rather just see a client leave than work with them. Super annoying.
