I’m a SATX area Art Teacher wanting to transition out into the corporate training world. Is anyone else on a similar path? I’ve been trying to upskill, learn new software. I ultimately want to be an Instructional Designer but since the field is soooo saturated I figured I’d need to stand out and so I’m learning Adobe Illustrator and Storyline softwares. I also figured getting a lower paying corporate trainer position would be easier but so far, I’ve had 61 rejections 😆🤦🏽‍♀️

There budget was upto 10 when i asked but feels like they playing me for my desperation to start working.

And I am expecting an offer from a bigger company and the joining's in the month of Feb.

I am currently into the SAP Security domain and I absolutely do not have any interest in it. I am planning to shift to development and have started on some courses on my own.

My question is, is there any future prospects in SAP UI5 and Fiori? Since my background is in SAP, I assume it will make a domain switch easier.

I have an interview for an in house position (only attorney) at a small non-profit focused on conservation easements. I am a transactional associate at a mid sized law firm. The prospect of freedom from the billable hour and contributing to meaningful work are the draws. The cons are that while the salary at the non-profit would only be slightly less than what I am making now, pay increases and opportunities for advancement will be much less than where I am now. Thoughts on making the shift?
