Best client perk you've received?
Hi All,
I joined Tech Mahindra for 5 days only and didn't find suitable timing for my project and emailed resignation mail to manager and HR. After that HR asked me to resign over portal but at the same time blocked my portal. After requesting many times they didn't unblock my portal and pretended like they want to unblock but there is some issue going on and marked my profile absconded. I have cleared fnf but they are not providing reliving letter but added pf amount also. What to do?

You, my friend, are on the hurt end of uncoordinated leadership. When i have been in a situation like yours, it's required me to be the leader my bosses were not or could not be in that moment. And i took on that responsibility long enough to (a) sort the situation or (b) confirm whether or not their behavior was willfull (if it was, that would be my cue to look fo another job). Here's what I did. I Invited all leaders involved to a meeting. I prepared five minutes and a one page brief to frame the convo. "Thank you for your time. I'll be brief. We are at a critical point on several workflows and we need to level-set on the status of these projects and then decide how best to move forward on x, y, z so we achieve a, b, c without risking further e, f, g." Assign no blame and assume good intentions. Odds are they're distracted by their own work. Engage them, show the situation that needs their attention, and ask them to resolve the competing/conflicting priorities. That's literally their job.
In the process, with me driving the boat of this situation, my boss expects me to be part of other key projects and my bosses boss is pulling me to lead a regional initiative for what im not scoped for. In the process top leadership is overlooking the work i did for one of those regional projects so i feel i am working for nothing. I have been consistently asking for clarity of scope in order to prioritize and focus on where it matters as well as to get the proper recognition and retribution but im being consistently ignored. Im at my wits end and ready to quit, but unfortunately i can’t yet. Any advice pls
Thank you SRD 1! That is useful. Im tired…
TLDR propose to leadership your view on the situation, what’s needed and frame it in a way that has your interests in mind (eg promo, workload, etc)
Your boss is prob on a medical leave of absence and leadership is bootstrapping, too busy to manage effectively.
Agree with SRD1. Take responsibility where you can and make it make sense for you. Go to your bosses boss and give them a very succinct lay of the land and suggested plan for managing and pitch whatever you’d like as far as path to promotion given workload and assumed leadership. They are unfortunately not managing it and will appreciate you stepping up to manage the situation and will probably give you what you want. But it will take a CTJ moment with leadership to paint the picture / make your proposal. A paper laying it all out might help them orient before meeting
The key is to influence effectively by being very succinct, removing emotion and long windedness which might take some intentionality given how hot the issue is for you.
