Write concisely. Don’t use flowery/fluffy language. Tell a coherent story (don’t go on tangents). Make it clear what actions you took, why you took them, and how they led to the outcome(s)/results/impacts. If you had difficult decisions to make, explain what led to the decision (e.g., tradeoffs considered, sources of data/inputs to factor, etc.). Use data where relevant.
Be very concise and straight forward. Make sure you're providing details and don't assume the reader will know what you're talking about! This is a tip for after you write it, especially if you're talking about something technical: have someone who isn't in your field read it. If they couldn't grasp what you were conveying or were confused about things that should be straight forward, you should take that into consideration when editing. Plus they can catch grammatical errors!
