You still have to do the job to the best of your ability. And I am sorry but in healthcare there should be no such thing as being too thorough. When we rush, that is how things get missed.
This may be true, Yet employers will terminate you if your thoroughness isn't timely enough. As former nursing middle management nurse I witnessed it happen regularly.
I am the same way. As long as you’re not doing anything wrong, I think they should just accept how you are. Being through I think may stop a mistake before it happens. I say stay the course.
Don’t internalize this. Keep being thorough. Patients will thank you.
Keep doing what you're doing. When it comes down to it, doing things correctly is better than doing them quickly. If you can find ways to streamline your workflow, fantastic, but you shouldn't feel pressured to cut corners. "Too thorough" is a ridiculous criticism in a healthcare setting.
You can be fast and thorough at the same time. How you do that is you get a system that works for you and you do it the same way every time.
They tell this to physican residents all the time as well. I feel like no matter how fast you are, they want to squeeze the most out of you.

Too thorough? Wow I mean I don’t even know what to say to that. Isn’t that a good thing?
I think Triage is meant to be a quick focused assessment, so that you know where to direct and determine urgency in a timely manner. Do you use any type of algorithm or coding system or other protocols to determine the flow?
They are all mean! Make them hire you help!
