Hi fishies! I work for an early-stage Fintech startup called Fennel; (www.fennel.com) focused on impact investing as well as shareholder activism and giving every day investors the tools they need to make informed and aligned decisions. I'm wondering what others in the industry think of this space and about ESG, given that there has been a lot of relevant media attention recently. And would love to know if people make investment decisions based on factors like workforce equity, ceo pay, etc.?

Some may. I definitely steer away from companies that are "bad" or toxic, etc. What I don't do is activity invest in only "good" companies by seeking them out. That said, i might look at a company if they had a lot of confirmed positive press. I think the problem is you really don't know what is marketing material and what is truth. PwC is the most unethical place I have ever worked yet they spend a tremendous amount of time on pr saying how ethical they are. Just a thought
