McKinsey & Company Has any industry experienced candidates pivot to MBB Engagement Manager before? My roommate works at FAANG as Senior Analyst (Ops, 6+ YOE) and was approached by McKinsey & Company recruiter for an EM role. He hasn’t done consulting before. Would this be too much of a risk? His goal is to pivot to PE S&O eventually.
Hi all, recently in touch by Spotify recruiter for a Sec Engineer position for remote EU and was told that range was 60-80 out of base salary and equity. Had 2 years of security experience out of my 4 years. Was also told that there is no bonus scheme or no sign in bonus 😕 Not sure how I feel about this tbh.

Disney Streaming Services I completed my interview process with DSS early last week, and was reached out by recruiter that all rounds were strong hires, and they are extending an offer. We set a time to talk on Friday about the offer. However, the announcement of targeted hiring freeze happened on Friday. I was ghosted with no call. What should I expect now? Would I still have chance to be offered?
Tata Consultancy Yesterday I got call from the tcs, they told that i have cleared the interview and they will send me mail for documents upload but till now i didn't got any mail... I am trying to call back but no one is picking, can anyone suggest me how much time they'll took for sending the mail for documentation

The hack is to be one of the first 20 applicants. That's what I'm seeing repeated on Reddit.
What helped me was looking at 5 or so job listings for the same role and noticing a lot of the common language and terminology. I then added those verbatim to my LinkedIn, resume and portfolio.
The initial screening is just checking off boxes based on the job description, so mirroring the language they use can help.
Is your resume tweaked to combat the algos with key words?

Try to find the recruiter or TA on the role. If you can’t find the exact one, reach out to other recruiters within the company and say you applied. This is your chance to stand out and get noticed in the event your application does get lost in the mix.
