Is HARMAN really recruiting for permanent remote roles? Would they ask us to come to office after sometime? I am a bachelor woman supporting my sickly parents and can't move them out of city. And my city don't have harman office. HR did mention permanent remote, still want to confirm as I've heard many cases people were called back across different product based companies. We pulled our vaccine/test policy when the province scrapped the "vax passports" for restaurants, etc. My company is US based so their views can be pretty American. However, I work in tech and our office is at very low capacity since we went hybrid, enhanced cleaning, distancing, and maskimg still remains in effect and we most likely will be keeping all of that even if restrictions change.
We are following provincial guidelines. Had varied attempts at more aggressive policies and have finally settled in to this. We operate in multiple provinces and have recently modified our policy to point to each provincial jurisdiction
Get your legal to help if needed. We are health care and are keeping our vax policy for the foreseeable future, for both those who see patients and those who don’t (ie HR).

We are public admin (but not govt) in BC. As soon as the province pulls the req for vaccine cards, we will likely pull our mandatory vaccine policy. We will continue to have mandatory masks, but will also be setting a date for when that req will be removed too so people can get used to the idea (though of course up to the individual).
