Focus on skills and what you bring, you have many transferable skills from school that are an asset (teamwork, collaboration, communication, etc). Also your attitude will be a big seller, we can’t teach that. Good luck!

Big focus on transferable skills, eagerness to learn and your personality. Find a place that fits well for you and vice versa, and they will be willing to train you and have you grow with them. Don’t be afraid to start at the “bottom” too, there is a lot of opportunities for growth when you’re just starting out.

Is it worth it to go back to school for a better track to a FAANG company? The division I’m currently in seems like there are no good opportunities, and I have the funds available to finish my undergraduate full time (Canada). Does anyone have experience interviewing with Deloitte Internal Services? I had my final interview a week and a half ago, and received positive feedback throughout. The hiring manager had positive things to say and mentioned they hoped to make a decision by the end of last week. It’s now Friday the week after. The role still shows as “Interviews in Process.” We did discuss potential start dates, but no salary. Any experience with receiving offers for an internal services role? Is this common?

Any roles you think I should be focusing on to target an exit and 30% increase?

Pivoting away from Sales: I’ve been in sales positions for 15 years, and I’m just exhausted by the role (disputing commissions, arguing about deals, all of it). I have a degree in marketing, but I am having a hard time landing interviews since I’ve never had a strictly marketing only role. Can anyone provide any advice, or has anyone successfully moved away from sales?

Luggage delay claim question

I used Chase explorer to buy tickets for my vacation and luggages were delayed for a month. Per chase term I am entitled $100 a day for 3 days. But the claim agency chase used has been asking for airlines response, which has not came (2month+ now). I am concerned insurance will use this as an excuse to never compensate. Is there a good way to handle this situation?

We have a vaccine proof or (-) test policy for our office, we are mostly still remote. Is anyone dropping those requirements as our provincial governments also drop vac certificate regulations and other protections? I feel that our duty to keep employees safe at work means we should keep our policy in tact. (Masking is still required in all indoor spaces so that won’t change)
