I'd put it off until the later rounds. It seems silly, but I think you're probably right that it could be held against you early on. When you do ask, position it as a scheduling question and maybe don't mention it directly. Bring up what your current schedule is like for reference. "I'm currently working 3 12s a week with 3 mandatory weekend days each month. Is it similar here?" This gives them the opening to elaborate on OT and call-ins without thinking you've got a problem with having to be a team player.
I’ve learned to listen closely when they describe “a typical shift.” If they mention overtime as a regular thing, that tells you plenty. You don’t always have to ask directly to get the answer.
