I received a $2,000 bonus

We got a $750 bonus. Tbh borderline insulting since tax cut it by like half

Our health system gave out system wide increases about 8 months ago for all hourly employees. Average increase was about 17%.
Although this was probably more a market and retention reason rather than COVID.

Switched jobs and got a 21% pay increase due to lack of hygienists wanting to work. If I didn’t switch jobs, there would not have been a raise.

I work in an outpatient laboratory. My bonus this year went up to $3000. Last year it was $2300. The hourly pay increase was only 2-3%. I was recently offered a hospital laboratory position that is offering a sign on bonus, slightly better benefits, and a 15% base pay increase.

no

No

we got a $1000 bonus

We got the yearly bonus, bit nothing covid specific. My geographic location doesn't have too many options to move around..

We got a $500.00 bonus last year after no merit increase

um, no

No increase in pay. No bonus that I noticed.
But they buy lunch once a week

I got a $300 bonus in 2020, then was laid off in 2021

No pay increase due to covid just Dunkin’ Donuts

Lol

like

No but the childcare facilities did give discounts whenever they shut down due to covid (usually you are charged whether or not the child reports to the center).

In primary care while seeing COVID patients daily we got our pay cut by 10% for a quarter, to make up for the financial losses without surgeries and dermatology visits, then back to normal. No increase yet.

No bonuses. No pay increase. No lunches. We were told to be happy we had a job.

Thry stopped covid pay

Will I be accepted as an intern/junior designer in my early 30s?

Making a lot of money relative to the average but feeling poor? Median after-tax income was ~$55,000 in 1981 and was ~$73,000 in 2020. Using a Bank of Canada inflation calculator $55,000 in 1981 is equivalent to ~$165,000 today, which would put someone in the top 10% of earners today. But in 1981 the median family had that extra money. Who can I blame?
