HCL Technologies offer being delayed and recruiter keeps saying that there's a problem with their "Offer release portal system." I have already stated my issues with relocating until after I have the offer signed and ready. The project is supposed to start on the 19th and I'm supposed to join before, or on that date. It's already coming up soon and I don't have the official offer so that I can confidently start the relocation process. Has anyone else recently dealt with this?

Hi all.
Has anyone in IBM been on bench for more than 4 months here?
I have been on bench for almost 4 months now & have been getting automated mails asking me to get assigned to a project by searching one by myself, else necessary action might be taken.
And are there any chances of being straightaway fired based on these automated mails?
I would genuinely need an advise from someone who is aware of this kind of situation.
Thanks in advance

Everyone is different, so you may not be able to deal with stress and anxiety in the same way. I recommend that you look for something to distract you and when you feel you can't do it anymore, focus only on that hobby.
Sometimes it is better to find help from a specialist, who can guide you in the right way and be aware that you can really improve. Remember that stress and anxiety can be serious for your health.
What I do is separate my time, that is to say, when I leave work I do something else. Right now I am learning Mandarin (as a real estate agent it is very useful, there are a lot of Chinese buyers nowadays), that way I separate work from life, and I don't feel overwhelmed all the time.
It helped me to play sports after work, it helped me to make new friends and even new clients, I play tennis.
Do not allow your work to end your relationships, because, in your work you are totally replaceable but not in life, you are a friend, brother, father and son, even a husband, but you are not replaceable.
Read a book, learn a new profession, take a cooking course, whatever you want but stop thinking about work, you can even do things as a couple to improve your relationships.
One thing that helps me deal with stress and anxiety is exercise. Whenever I'm feeling overwhelmed or stressed, I'll go for a run or do some other form of exercise. It helps clear my head and gets rid of any pent-up energy or stress.
For me it is spending time with friends or family. Getting out of my head and into a conversation with someone I care about always makes me feel better and loved.
I've been using progressive muscle relaxation and deep breathing exercises to deal with stress and anxiety. They seem to help me calm down and focus.
The best thing to do when you're feeling intense stress is to take a few minutes to calm down. This doesn't always mean just sitting quietly; you could offer to run an errand for your boss, treat yourself to a cup of coffee, or even go make some photocopies just to get away from your desk for a bit. It helps you to switch gears and stop obsessing over what's bothering you. At least, that's how it works for me.
Whatever is bothering you, it is important to address the real issue instead of just reacting by reflexively taking it out on those around you. How are your relationships with your coworkers and supervisors? There might be a bigger problem that you need to confront. Otherwise it will just keep getting worse.
This industry can definitely become highly stressful, especially in today's economy. Taking time out for yourself often doesn't seem like a possibility, but it's seriously important. Taking a bubble bath after a long stressful day helps me relax, and also gives me something to look forward to throughout the day. My secret weapons are essential oils and candles :)
Is seeing a therapist an option for you? that's the best way to find changes and coping mechanisms that work the best for you specifically. Beyond that, exercise and fresh air. Make sure you are taking time for yourself and the things you enjoy :)
