What does anyone know of real estate in Web3? I keep hearing about it but it feels so foreign that I wouldn't know where to begin.

It is a bit complex because it is new, but it has to do with decentralized and partial purchases of some space, i.e. you can acquire 10% of a property while others buy the remaining 90%. It sounds a bit crazy, but it is a good way to invest.

The Web3 allows the buyer not to have to do all the bureaucratic documents to acquire a property, this at the same time facilitates our work and optimizes the negotiation times. It would be interesting to continue learning and see the real market possibilities in this new modality.

I recommend you read this article, it talks about everything you need to know to better understand Web3 in the world of real estate, it helped me a lot, and now I'm exploring options in this field.

https://www.outlookindia.com/business/how-is-web3-transforming-the-real-estate-industry-through-blockchain--news-216849

There isn't much that is known about real estate in Web3 yet because the technology is still in development. However, there are some things that we can expect. For example, decentralization of real estate, smart contracts, and the development of new types of real estate products, like buying shares in a property or renting out fractions of a property.

I'm pretty skeptical about the whole thing myself. I'm not planning in getting involved in the craziness until there are more concrete advancements in that area

Is bank interest riba?

I have been researching into this these days and there is literature that shares how lending worked in pre-Islamic Arabia. When the time to pay back a loan came, the lender would ask "would you pay or will you increase?" And that increase was usually doubling the loan. Subsequently ever year the loan wasn't paid it was doubled from the previous year.

As realtors, our worst and best friend are the contractors, being friends with the contractor that remodelled a home you are going to sell is a plus because you can know for sure what kind of improvements were made to the house and why; and what kind of things are pending to be improved, that way you can provide real information to the client. You know what they say: a happy client always comes back to you.
