Does anyone know of any remote contract jobs in auditing? Specifically, risk management, compliance or internal auditing? I’m able to work 20+ hours a week. Im starting a new job but still employed somewhere else. I was trying to be open about staying at BOTH places. My current job won’t let me be part time because they don’t allow “set schedules”. Yet I am one of the only reliable and loyal employees in the department, and currently working a set schedule. So why will they not let me continue a set schedule but with different hours? This place is more focused on strict policies and not actually trying to work their employees and being flexible.

Interviewed on Friday, they started talking salary Friday afternoon & said I’d hear back “next week.” Still nothing... Obsessively checking email... This whole patience thing is hard, amirite??

I have practiced for five years and make $121k as an employee of a financial services company. As the only attorney, I oversee all statewide collections efforts, from demand letter to garnishment, with a case volume of nearly 7k new cases per year, of which the majority I end up litigating. I receive only a $1k bonus per year. Is my compensation fair? My last insurance defense gig was $75k.
