I’m in my 30s. Mid-career professional. Today I had an interview and they asked about a salary range and I just honestly told them how much I make. It’s totally against the advice but I’m comfortable with what I make and feeling more means more responsibility which I don’t necessary want 😅 Did I do a wrong thing?

I picked this company bc I liked their product and the manager, but I’m already feeling 1. REALLY silo-ed . Need some insight from those who exited to corp dev or have high familiarity with these roles. Im interviewing with a company who typically closes ~10-12 deals a year, these companies are generally between $10-50M in revenue. My questions is that im trying to gauge what WLB is going to be in an environment like this that’s closing 10+ deals a year. I know hours tend to ramp up in the thick of a deal but if i’m constantly working on deals is there ever a down time?

Had an interview in OCT for a job and it went very well. The company has had lots of delays in making a final decision since their head office is very cost conscious. They have been feeding me constant updates and reiterating how much they want me to join. I feel that my initial salary expectation now feels outdated as it was 6 mo. ago last year. Any tips on how to renegotiate my initial salary exp. w/o possibly creating more delays with their head office? Sign on bonus?review $alry in 6 Months?

Hi all! I have a concern/questions. For me, I’m an awful interviewer. I have awful social anxiety and anxiety in general so interviewing is very hard for me. I stutter & stumble over my words, I forget what I’m going to say or I end up talking too much to compensate. It’s always, not good. But I’m a very good worker if I’m given a chance. I don’t get many chances because of how I interview. How can I approve with that? And do employers recognize that some ppl might just be bad at interviewing?

My Phoebe is getting a biopsy on Monday to remove/test a tumor on her belly. The vet thinks it’s likely a hemangioma, which is benign. But I know that hemangiomas and hemangiosarcomas look similar and only a pathology examine can identify which it is. I’m trying not to think about the unwanted possibility. But it’s hard not to.
