This is what I was going to recommend as well. Everyone I have contacted charges hundreds and hundreds of dollars and I just can't afford that.I was able to find someone who frellances on the weekends in the local facebook group and she was much m ore affordable.
The most reasonable option is often going to a hairsalon that also sells makeup and having it both done there day of. Hiring someone to come to you is going to run $100 to $150 per girl.
You might also get a makeover in a store and ask the makeup artist if she does weddings or has any interest. Also, if there are places in your area that train cosmetologist. That is a good option to find someone less expensive. Always worth paying for a trial to make sure you like their style and the makeup wears well. they should include a touch up kit.
I just asked everyone I knew who they used, and found someone who did it as a side gig.
I avoided the really expensive ones who specialize in weddings. Many wouldn't do a trial until after you signed up, were very expensive and when you look at their photos the girls all looked alike. Some you hardly recognized from the before picture. Be I want to feel gorgeous, but look like myself in all those pictures.
This is so detailed, thank you so much. I appreciate your time and effort
