I’m looking for some advice. I want to start doing creative work for non-profits.

Not for free, but at a heavily reduced rate. The reason why not free is that I can’t afford to personally finance all the hard costs of production and media needed.

I’m not talking about doing scammy award bait. The intent is—it is work that creates actual value for the non-profit in the form of donations and solutions.

How have others here managed to get involved creatively in a meaningful way?

Hi everyone, I had a major surgery and am looking to find a remote position involving anything that isn’t 100% commission based or cold calling/agent positions. I was told to apply to a hospital job by someone interested in interviewing me. The recruiter reached out. Asked for my availability but then didn’t respond when I gave her my availability. I followed up. We scheduled a phone call (she said she’d call) and then she didn’t call! At this point, I’m thinking they’re totally disorganized. Is this common practice? I’ve never dealt with a recruiter so I don’t know.
