I'm (mostly) healthy at 45 and trying to up my health game. I've been researching the vitamins and supplements I should be taking, but there are way too many options. What do you take daily? I'm wondering if I should just take a multivitamin every day and be done with it. But are they enough, or should I also consider individual supplements? The dosages seem way different. Any thoughts?

Actually go to a provider that will do bloodwork and evaluate hormone levels. You're in your 40 so testosterone gonna start dropping a multi vitamin ain't fixing that. There are other factors too. But a complete blood workup is the basis to start.

True but none of us or our doctors are worrying about our testosterone levels dropping in the years after 40, so let's be real and not try to pretend you didn't assume OP was a man. Its ok to admit your bias.

Swimming 3-5 days and regular 36 hr fasting weekly has done wonders for me.

A multivitamin is a great start! I wouldn’t take anything else unless you’ve had bloodwork and know there’s a deficiency or reason to take something. Vitamins get expensive quickly.

I take these—it’s a little packet that contains 5 vitamins. There are targeted vitamins based on your needs (also available on Amazon).

You need to incorporate edibles. At least 3x daily.

Edibles my bro.

I do 1 women’s multivitamin, 1 Vit D, 1 B12 each day. Sometimes others.
Having said this, most longevity experts will say there is no correlation on vitamin supplements for living a longer life.

I do DHA / fish oil and vitamin D in addition to my daily vitamin. Fish oil really helped my cognitive function (sleep deprived parent) and like most office workers I had low Vit D.

I do fish oil and creatine capsules everyday

I get it... there’s a supplement for everything. I just take a multivitamin, vitamin D, and omega-3s, and try to eat a balanced diet. Make sure to get blood work done to see if you’re low on anything.

I absolutely crush the weights in the gym and dgaf

My question is, do I position myself to take the HR role and backfill my recruiter role?

Wow. Wayfair is a joke. I haven’t had a single good experience with anything I’ve purchased from them. And I only order things with good reviews! Now I’m waiting for a mattress which shipped last week...and won’t show up until September. HOW.

Working on building out the appropriate staffing model and would love to hear how others have structured the size of their teams and how you made the pitch for said size of staffing.
