Looking for some advice on the following - I want to make a pivot back to client services, specifically advisory/consulting/transaction services. I have 4 years public accounting experience, and 3.5 years manager experience within the corporate controllership function, both technical and SEC reporting related (more technical than SEC). What roles would I be a fit for? Public experience includes tax and audit. EY PwC KPMG Deloitte
No. I worked at Fid for 5 years.
I can’t imagine why you would… that would incentivize excess trading which, if I remember from my series 7 days, is a breach of fiduciary duty. Also what role could possibly pay you fro executing trades for a client?
Most positions at Fidelity are bonus based not commission/fee based.
No, never
No fid charges clients $32.95 if they place a trade through a rep over the phone instead of $0 doing it online themselves but you don’t get any of that.
No. Worked there for four years.
Thank you everyone! Do you know what to expect from the high net worth client associate position? I am not sure if it will be a good fit for me. I have never worked in a call center type position. Any feedback will be highly appreciated
If you are looking for a call center role that will lead to other call center roles then it’s a great spot. It takes a special person to take calls all day back to back without going crazy.
