I'm not trying to get ahead of myself, but rather give myself something to look forward to... How did you all celebrate passing or how are you planning to celebrate when you do?

I have tons of plans, Vegas trip, new watch, great dinner at fave restaurant. All are great things to do but I just can’t pass any of them

funny

A trip to Mexico. Can't wait.

I think it's a good idea to plan ahead. Gives us something to look forward to and its positive manifestation. Two birds with one stone. I'm going to take myself out to the place I've wanted to go to for a year but told myself was for a special occasion only. I'm also going to go visit my sister-in-law who lives in London, I haven't been to see her or my brother since they moved.

That's the right attitude. Being positive and looking forward to something just means that you are excited about it. Plan a party with your friends and family to celebrate your success. Have fun!

You should look forward to it actually. Manifesting these things goes a long way into changing your mindset that you are ready for the next step. In my time, it was only a simple celebration with the family. I immediately started work right after so I did not have much time to enjoy the success. But you do your thing once you are up!

I’m getting my first designer handbag and a trip to Europe.

I’m a 4th year and I’ve never billed contemporaneously for even a one full week. I guess I’d just rather have one day of torture recording all my hours at the end of the month than that extra little torture daily. I’m wondering how common or rare this is in BigLaw. Thoughts?

I’ve taken FAR a few times at this point. I got two 74s and this past one I got a 70. I felt like the last exam (which was a few weeks ago) was extremely harder than the other ones. Has anyone else noticed the exam getting extremely tough? Or do you think I just got a one off?
