Yep there's so many people in the same position it's crazy and yet if you ask places they tell you they're understaffed!
We can thank AI and the companies that use it. If your resume doesn't have the proper phrases or words. AI doesn't except it. You lose. Isn't technology great
Yes my 19 yr old son has been to at least 20 interviews and no calls back. I stopped using indeed because ai would schedule you for an interview and you would show up and nobody knows about the interview that was scheduled. It's been 6 months of looking with no job yet

The job market has been stagnant all year. That's just the reality of it. There are many more people looking than there are open positions, so it's not unusual to apply and hear nothing. The competition is extreme. Until conditions change and employers are less hesitant to hire it may continue that way. All anyone can do is hang in and keep trying.

It’s so tough right now. The best way to be found is through a referral.
It is, sad but crazy, ive never had a problem getting q job, even with my high qualifications, id be usually a few weeks in a mild search, and always a few came up for me to choose which I rather have. Now ive been since early October searching, getting looooon phone screenings, in person interviews, zoom ones and nothing.
I would pick the few top companies you want to work for and just go in person!! You never know!!!

In Las Vegas I see robo taxi . Mail order taken over shopping habits everything is e-mail. Human conversation seems to disappear

I totally understand I mean, someone told me to go to this company. I go to the company and they told me to fill out the application online so I said to him well I was referred to come down here and ask for a specific name. (Jane doe) to get hired. But he just stood and stared at me. lol
