I need help. I'm dealing with multiple losses in the same week and having a hard time... I took some time off from work but I have no motivation to do anything. What length of vacation do you usually take? I’m a big fan of taking many 4 day weekends (instead of 1 or 2 longer vacays) but apparently those aren’t encouraged in the Big Law world?

So I had 3 deals scheduled to either close end of May or mid June which were all pushed to end of June/beginning of July. Which is when I have my first vacation planned for over a year (I take 0 time off). My whole family is flying up and we’re renting a cabin near me. What do I do? I’m running one of the deals, semi running the other one and not doing much leading on the other one. Note: I was supposed to not be running any of these. Do I find a back up first or tell the partners first?

For all you retail people...are you experiencing a very slow holiday season? I am a retail manager and I feel like this season has been freakishly slow. I thought we would at least match last year's number or be up a little bit but we are trending down. I talked to employees of other stores in the mall and they are saying the same thing. - Industry: tech
- Role: finance manager
- YOE: 5 years
- Comp: 270k aed/year + 5% bonus

Is the EY 16 week maternity pay 100% of the salary ? I was reading the FAQs and could not find anything that said 100 % of pag provided in the 16 weeks of eligible time off.
