I go back tomorrow after a week's vacation. When is it expected I start catching up on email? Tonight? Tomorrow?
How many of you have trouble relaxing? I can't stop working, even at home or on vacation
How do you guys know when it’s time to take a vacation? Currently feeling burned out and wish I would’ve booked one sooner
Junior associate with deal closing tomorrow. Partner said that I need to cover for part of the day (despite the fact that I said I’m taking off for Yom Kippur) cause said partner is golfing. Also had to cancel a vacation for said partner a month ago. Sign to leave?
We risk exposure and bringing it home to our families every time we walk into work, yet are limited to time off work without penalty. What's your sick leave policy?
When you’re planning for PTO, do you ask your managers if it’ll be okay to take time off those dates or do you just give them kind of a heads up?
How is everyone celebrating the holiday weekend?
When it takes you two weeks of working to catch up from one week of vacation...seems like it should be the other way around ☠️
"Who was your plus-one to that previous company event? Bring them to the holiday party!" "Yeah I'd love to but we actually stopped seeing eac--" "Anyway can't wait to see them at the holiday party!"
I want a holiday gift card from Deloitte 😢
Just gonna vent here bc I can’t do this on normal social media but it infuriates me how people just blatantly ignore requests to RSVP to events. I sent an initial invite for our client holiday..cont
Any Dubai recs? I'm thinking about braving the August desert heat and taking a spontaneous vacation.
Thoughts on buying Sheraton vacation home rentals (I.e. time shares). Math is: $18k total investment, spread over a 7 year, 13% loan, gets you a) 1 week of studio stays in 200+ resort locations b)...
Recently received comparable offers to Capgemini Invent and Accenture Strategy (comparable title, pay, vacation days). Now what 🐟? Thoughts? Other points to consider?
Thoughts on Grey NY health teams (I know everyone has mixed feelings on pharma in general) specifically the account departments?
International 🐠..Does Google apply for premium processing for H1B transfers? How fast/slow is BAL in processing and submitting documentation for visa transfers? How long did it take some of you from start to finish?
Our START interns need to get it together. Ripped jeans. T shirts. Shorts. At the office-what is this? FYI, I'm black and was also the equivalent to a START intern at another firm. Do I say something?
A recruiter wants to set up interviews with me but I’m about to be out on production for two weeks. Any tips/guidance/advice?
I’m looking to make a shift into recruiting. I don’t have any typical recruiting experience but I believe I will be very good at it. Im excited to learn, very personable, love helping connect people. My issues are: Ive never worked a commission job before & taking that leap is terrifying. Im currently at a job that pays about 30K more than most of the base pays I’m seeing & I have great benefits. Any advice? What to look out for? How to pick a good place? Where are you working/why do you like it
Health care is being rationed in several states. This is getting serious. This is definitely worth learning more about as hospital refuse critically ill patients who do not have covid. Emergency rooms are literally flooded, critically ill pts (w covid) wait hours on end in their car to get in to see a doctor. What a MESS https://www.adn.com/nation-world/2021/09/13/alabama-man-dies-after-being-rejected-by-43-hospitals-in-3-states-family-says-as-covid-packs-icus/ https://www.marketwatch.com/amp/story/alaska-joins-idaho-in-rationing-health-care-as-hospitals-are-packed-with-covid-patients-and-who-says-africa-is-being-left-behind-in-vaccine-push-11631717516 https://www.adn.com/alaska-news/2021/09/14/amid-covid-19-overload-providence-alaska-medical-center-now-prioritizing-care-under-crisis-standards/

Ladies!! Always, always, always get a second opinion when it comes to your health. Don’t let people tell you you’re overreacting, it’s all in your head or it’s from being overweight.
Is the signing bonus game still strong as we inch our way towards the end of the year? Are firms looking to hire with 2022 start dates yet?
In the past year we switched to wearing jeans in the office and are now allowed to work remote from home when we don't have to be onsite. Just curious if this is standard practice now in the industry.
Currently a consultant with 3 YOE at Deloitte making $82k, got an offer from a well established startup as a Project Manager for $110,000. I’m not super passionate about PMO, and love the people I work with at Deloitte. Any advice?
Is the work culture at Amazon really that bad?
Anyone have insight on Strategy roles at PepsiCo? Interesting work/culture/comp/growth/etc.
Any thoughts on if using chase points to buy an Apple product is good or bad? Each point is worth .01 or 100 points =$1
Was told I’d only have one round (4 interviews), each split 50/50 on case/behavioral. This is for an Associate position and will be interviewing with AP/P/SP level. Is this typical? Since I see most people have multiple rounds.
Received an invite for a superday very quickly after applying to Goldman. Recruiter never sent me the zoom password and then the password failed to work so everything started a full 15 minutes late. Interviews went great including a “they’ll definitely be a second round” but then I received the rejection email the next day. Do we think the tech issues played into that significantly or just my interview not stacking up to other candidates?
Hi Guys, I need some help. I had joined kpmg global services recently (7 months) back from one of the IT services companies in an advisory role however now I have received an offer from HCL with 40% hike to my current CTC. What should I do. I have heard that KGS gives decent hikes and bonus payouts however the work is completely backend with limited customer interaction and limited good quality. Can someone throw some light on HCL as well, what is good and what is bad and which to choose
