Don't be depressed. Believe in yourself. I gave 120 to 150 interviews from Sept 2023 to July 2024. Most of the interviews are only L1 round. No support from family, did all the house hold chores, taking care of my 1.5 years old baby. Did study at night. Only 4 hours of sleep in 24 hours. Dont loose hope. Be positive.
Wow…. This is very motivating reply. So many women need this ..👍👍👍. With all these things most of the women leave job … but you are thinking to move ahead with ur own. This is tha passion
Most interviews typically include multiple rounds such as coding, data structures and algorithms (DSA), in-depth questions on frameworks, system design, and sometimes unexpected "googly" questions. The first step is to identify which area you're currently lacking in.
Once you pinpoint the gap, don’t just stop at the question you couldn’t answer—revisit the entire topic thoroughly. Make sure to understand the concepts deeply and work through real-world examples to reinforce your learning.
For coding and DSA rounds, focus on understanding the underlying logic behind each problem rather than memorizing solutions.
This is the strategy I've always followed whenever I planned to switch roles.
And trust me, you might face a few rejections in the first month — that's completely normal. But if you stay consistent, within 2–3 months, you'll start clearing most of the interviews with confidence.
Everytime you are getting rejected, actually you are getting closer to selected. Who knows maybe something better is awaiting for you.
dont get depressed, 30 is really a low number
just apply apply apply for at least 50 jobs per day
and give at least 15 interviews in a week
you are not having momentum just get it and list down questions and dig it more n more also try to give answers in elaborative way
These comments are so motivating need this kind of motivation for me as well. I am the person who always thinks that I am not ready for any interview and always afraid to give interviews thinking that what interviewee think about me having so much experience and that too with no domain knowledge and cancels the interview or reschedule it I don't try at all need this kind of motivation to start and to believe in myself that I can also do it.😊
10 yrs ago I was in a very toxic job with small baby and also depressed due to mother's demise. Somehow, I made myself & switched after lots of efforts to a very famous product company. After being there for 10 years recently again I switched to another PBC as the I did not see any growth plus hell lots of layoffs were going on with the company. The journey was incredibly challenging, but I never lost any hopes or giving up. I upskilled in multiple technologies & DSA and kept attending interviews without any expectations finally to get a decent offer.
30 interviews in 3 years .. that's a not a very high number that u be depressed about it... keep giving interviews.. atleast 2-3 per week and I am sure pretty sure by the next 3-4 months you will have multiple offers in hand!!! Keep hustling!! No is asking you the number of interviews you gave, so why being sad about rejection??? There's nothing to be sad about rejections... Stay positive and keep learning from each rejection!! You will do great!!
But the thing is nowadays I receive too less calls, also no offer. Plus my base pay is also v less as compared to other colleagues
