How early are you going to bed? I really changed my circadian rhythm in the last few years to be more aligned with when the sun goes down/comes up. I make sure to get morning sunlight everyday (even just 5-10 minutes helps) and then I get evening sunlight too. This helps your body produce cortisol and melatonin at the right times of day and has turned me into a complete morning person. I really recommend looking into it!

I tried doing a 5am a few weeks ago, but it was draining my energy in the morning. I just go after work and prioritize getting 8 hours of sleep or more every night.
Aside from coffee, right? I have an Amazon smart light that I programmed with the Alexa app to start gradually turning on 20 minutes before my alarm goes off. I don't know the science behind it, but having the light turn on before the alarm makes it easier for me to feel clear-headed when I do wake up.
I went through a period of getting up very early so I could get some work in before the day really started and 5:30 am was my standard waking up time. The only way I could do it was to go to bed early. I'd make sure I was in bed by 10 pm. Once I got used to that routine, the early wakeup was manageable.
Thanks. Did you stick with it?
I’m trying to implement the 5 second rule with getting out of bed. Mel Robbins wrote a book about the idea of counting down from 5 and taking action. https://www.tiktok.com/@melrobbins/video/7470565398413413662
