I’m trying to hire a safety professional in Connecticut. Someone in thier first 3 years in Residential Solar but Im having little to no luck. I focused in LinkedIn but barely any bites. Anybody know where I should be looking. It's a Safety Specialist, hourly, up to $33 an hr. Any suggestions appreciated.

Indeed is a great platform. I’ve had good luck on there.

I've had success with ziprecruiter.com, may you will as well

Hey,

Totally understand the challenge. Finding solid safety talent, especially with solar experience, can feel like a needle-in-a-haystack situation.

You might consider expanding beyond LinkedIn to platforms like iHireSafety, Indeed with resume alerts, or even solar-specific Facebook and Reddit groups where entry-level professionals hang out.

Also, if it helps, my team at OccuPros specializes in recruiting and placing EHS professionals across the country, including residential solar. We’ve built a network of early-career safety specialists and can help take some of the heavy lifting off your plate. No pressure, but if you'd like to explore that route, feel free to DM me or visit www.occupros.com.

Wishing you luck either way, Hope you land the right fit soon!

Currently being slowly integrated into a hybrid role to include some level of safety management that didn’t previously exist at my company . I am grateful they find value in this , specially as I’m currently in pursuit of my bachelors degree in occupational safety and health . My question is once I obtain my degree , overall what salary expectations should I have for entry level safety coordinator . I’m in central Florida . Thanks in advance for any insight !

I got a job offer as a Safety Compliance Specialist with a focus on Operations/Process Safety. It’s a regional role, so I will manage over a few facilities in my given region. I negotiated my salary at 80k + $600 monthly car allowance + 8-10% annual bonus. I have 7 YOE in Operations & QA/QC in the Oil & Gas sector. I will complete bachelor degree in safety next year, so I was curious is this a reasonable offer to start my Safety career path? Also what are other certifications to better myself?

Hey everyone. I recently excepted a safety position with a software dev. company. The workforce is largely hybrid/remote. I’m having a hard time finding items to address. I’ve been given the opportunity to shape the role but can’t seem to bring value in a way that was easily seen in higher risk professions such as construction. Do any of you have some resources I can draw upon? All questions and answers are welcome.
