In BGV of Deloitte USI which is done by First advantage, do they Validate information provided on resume and Details filled in BGV form??

I did an internship after my college and I have that in my resume. However throughout my interview process I have not included that as my experience and I informed only my permanent employment as experience to the HR and I have not kept the internship experience in BGV form.

Will it cause any issues in BGV for Deloitte USI done by First advantage?

Do large law firms really recieve enough applications for a position that they cannot follow up when someone reaches out to check on thier application? I get that if you have to reach out, they probably weren't interested anyways, I'm just curious why there is a practice of just leaving applicants in the wind. And also, how does one go about finding out why they were rejected, if thier qualifications are "impressive"?

During interviews, how do you talk about the “result” or “impact” of a consulting project you were on? I know how to talk about the problem/recommendation portion of a sample project but the result/impact, I mean, as consultants we don’t see recommendations executed and actually generating results. So how do you talk about it?
