Wanted to highlight Prudential Financial’s hiring practices. They rescinded my offer once I attempted to negotiate the salary. The official reason given was that I didn’t “sound excited enough”.
They then admittedly gave the offer to someone who was less qualified. There were other red flags throughout the job offer process that the HR team should overall be ashamed of.

I am pretty sure issue would be something else. Let's see if 2 companies have same background verification check providers. I am selected in 1st company they did background verification and after 2 weeks I got another offer now when other company will initiate background verification it should not fail. Maybe cisco opened pf account and employee fail to mention it in previous employer so it failed.
Even I didn't sign.. But entry was already made
yes even if you dont sign anything they create the of account . i think the rule is to reject an offer before joining date. if joining date is passed then the create pf account and close it on some other daye as exit date and that date me overlap with your joining date from another organisation
