In my first few months in sales, it feels like the highs are super high and the lows are, well, really tough. When you were starting out, how did you keep yourself motivated on days when targets seemed impossible?

I was laid off this month from a US-based company where I've been a reporter for the past 3 years or so... I live in Europe. I wonder if I'm likely to have luck with other remote-friendly US companies. Or are we already past that?

I’m currently at a boutique agency where it’s just me and my boss doing RM for about 200+ people. I have been there for almost a year and have implemented some new processes that are starting to help streamline the process. I currently make $85K. Is this an appropriate salary for my level? I am being approached for RM roles at consulting firms and other agencies. I like the idea of building something here but would also like better benefits (more vacation, better mat leave).
