We don’t have case interviews in the NSS anymore. I would prep for general behavioral questions and to talk about specific stuff from your resume that applies to the job posting. Good luck!
Stay far away from Guidehouse!!!!
More bonus for me. 🤷♀️
These types of roles typically look at your problem solving skills and character based on the way you describe your previous projects and your roles and contributions to the success. They want to know if you’re professional enough to face their clients, and if you have enough skills and domain knowledge to understand what you’re doing to contribute to the program/contract without holding your hand through the process. If it’s a consultant position, they’ll probably expect you to need some training
Be mindful of the time and practice up on the STAR method. Best of luck!
Lol. I’m a former consultant in the national security practice. It’s good if you want to get some experience probably, but you won’t want to stay for long. Management/teams aren’t that professional and the internal processes/software is a nightmare. The benefits are the worst in the industry, but they make up for it by offering a high salary if you ask (but it’s not worth it)!
