Based on your post and your reactions to the initial response I think your range is competitive at 225-240. If you’re bringing clients then 250 could be justifiable.
You must not be in a HCOL/major market then esp if you’re barely hitting 200k 11 years in
I’m MCOL and same general areas, rates, and hours. $269k base
For reference, I’m in similar market billing 1800 at $350-$400/hr and make $225k. Large firm but not big law. Not saying my pay is competitive (I think it’s under but my efforts to change it have gone nowhere) but hope this helps.
How big is the firm? My gut says $350k
That sounds about right shoot I would think even higher esp if you’re 11 years in. If it’s a HCOL area even boutique firms will pay you up there if you’re experienced.
$283k is obviously the rule of thirds at 1700 hours and $500/hr but idk if firms are still doing that. I think anything under $250k is low for your vintage.
