Anyone feel like maternity leave affected their raise and bonus? I don't feel like my numbers were adjusted and feel like I am getting the run around
I’ve been in my current role for 9 months but am actively interviewing for roles at a 50%+ pay increase. I just received a promotion and won’t know comp until 10/5 but know it’s nowhere close to the other positions. Is it wrong to leave so close to being promoted? Will I burn bridges?
I had my first interview last Monday and it went really well. The interviewer said they really liked me and thought I would be a good fit. However I haven’t heard anything back since then. How long should I normally expect to wait to hear back about a next round? When is the right time to reach back out if I haven’t heard anything?

Today is my 40th birthday and I'm doing it big this year. Took the day off to relax and catch up on reading, cooking and drawing. 😃 No emails, no slack, no meetings.
All clients need to explain conference call etiquette when WFH to their employees. So far I’ve heard people washing dishes, talking to their spouse and kids, making lunch, and playing with pets...
How valuable is having a B4 name on the resume? Currently at a boutique and have the option to join B4 (not KPMG) or industry. Industry would pay more for the first couple years. Wondering if B4 would be the better option for the long run
Asking to the Indian folks, for the ones laid off or having issues and having to go back home, how is the job market currently in India? Any of you tried looking around?

Operations & logistics manager or strategic planning exit ops salaries at Uber? Lot of consultants make the jump!
I’m a manager making roughly $120K, but am interested in exploring different career paths. Most recently, Commercial Real Estate has struck me as an interest. I’m comfortable with the idea of taking a step back in my career (in terms of salary and role level) as long as it isn’t a hard reset (starting again from the very bottom). Any recommendations on how to pivot effectively without encountering severe financial setbacks?
Currently a change management practitioner. What are the best exit opportunities to the corporate world?
Anyone else from EY not hearing back from any jobs they’ve applied to? I was not laid off but starting to look for a new job regardless. Not sure if it’s just me/my resume.
Who actually decides what pay increase and bonus a person gets when they are an MD? Their account leadership, someone in their offering, or someone else?
So who else here is experiencing plummeting billable hours and exponential weight gain since this whole WFH thing started? Bought snacks for 30 days, finished in 48 hours.
Which firms have the best maternity/paternity packages? Do any cover some of the cost of surrogacy? I have a medical condition that would make actually carrying a child dangerous, so wondering if some firms offer help in that area (I’ve heard of some covering IVF costs).
Why do people stay despite hating their job? I’ve asked co-workers and most don’t know what to do outside of P.A. Take some time to think about what you want, the firm does not make your exit opps.
