Sounds to me like you asked for a bunch of things you aren’t entitled to anyway and are upset you didn’t get them. Maybe you will get the points you’re asking for but I would feel a bit dirty
I agree - they don’t have seem to have broken policy. Yes, you have status, but most of us who have traveled for 3+ years do. At the end of the day these people are just doing their jobs like us and doing the best they can to accommodate a lot of “high status” people. I wouldn’t feel entitled to 70,000 points, or even 20,000 frankly. I’d feel entitled and guilty for asking.
In reflection, you are right and I was wrong. While it didn’t ruin vacation, it did start with a sour mood. Appreciate the perspective

I have this sneaking suspicion that you complained throughout your trip about these minor inconveniences and all the people that were with you could do is nod their heads and want a change in subject.
The only meritable issue you had was that your rooms were ready at 6 pm vs the 3 pm posted time. All the others are benefits that you are well aware are NOT GUARANTEED. Hope you didn’t sour your vacation complaining left and right for benefits that are always and only based on availability.
I would say that your time is more valuable than the time you will continue to waste to get some measly points for a 3 hour delay of your room in what was obviously a busy day for the property
I’m still not sure why you think you should get the 70k points back. You stayed at the hotel didn’t you? You could maybe get the resort fee comped (maybe... it’s still a stretch but it wouldn’t be the first time someone’s asked) and you could maybe get a few 7-10k points for the inconveniences. But you absolutely shouldn’t be getting 70k
??
Took me a minute to draft that tltr experience...

Status: platinum ambassador (lifetime gold)
Experience:
- pre arrival: 1. requested concierge services via app ( request ignored) 2. Asked for suite night (declined upon arrival vs days before, per usual) 3. drove 7+ hours to get there 😤
- arrives at hotel at 3pm having requested early checkin (12pm) but do not get both rooms until 6pm 😠
- room was ready but they did not call to inform me so I had to approach front desk, which is when I asked for resort fees waived, 20,000 in points, and 100 comped to room, WHICH front desk manager agreed to
- fast forward to last night while at dinner, “concierge” calls to ask if I’d like any help with dinner reservations but then tries to sell me the “opportunity of a lifetime” 😡
- post checkout do not see comp on my room, resort fees waved, or points awarded🤬
- 4 days after I call Corp. Marriott to document lack benefits and create issue / ticket, was told property mgr. would reach out in 3 business days (no response)
- 5 days later, call Corp. Marriott to request escalation / investigator, now requesting all the 100 comp + resort fees waved & now 70,000 points total (vs. 20,000 requested) given all this effort and the fact my original request preceded the very frustrating concierge call
7 hour drive lol Marriott really should've just paid for your flight! I'd ask for a first-born if I were you
