I work for a small firm (about 20 attorneys) and make 90k. I’m coming up for a raise discussion in a couple of months but don’t know how to go about it/what is reasonable to ask for. I bill about 35 hrs/week at 400/hr, so I think I deserve a bump, especially considering the posture of the market. Trying to understand how schools bracket candidates in terms of the industries candidates worked in? I’m currently in advisory (accounting focus) and trying to break into IB. Currently have the FRM title.

I'm hoping to eventually do CAIA, but only after I'm done with CFA. I'm also hoping to do non-financial certifications, like Certified analytics professional (CAP), and learn about web development.

While I may have the title of manager, I am still an individual contributor. The type of work I do involves quantitative analysis/data analysis/science.
