Job-Hunting reach-out to VC from previous fundraising effort for own startup
I have e-mail archive from 1y ago of my reach-out to 65 VCs in London: we had video calls, they might remember me still, who knows.
I want to send a reply/forward message to the same e-mail thread from abc@gmail.com, saying that I am looking for roles within their VC firm. Is that a good idea?
Or shall I just start new email thread and mention how I know them?

Interim clearance since you have one processing. That's how I remember it but it's been a while
You'll still get an interim, even for a TS SSBI.
I was an SSO on a deployment and I went through this same scenario personally as well.
If you are currently read in and working in a position that requires access for the armed services (AF, army, navy) then you can keep on working your current mission. Now if you need to do a new mission that requires new access, then that might be tricky to do but it would ultimately fall on the SSO to determine the risk and make a decision based on policy. If your mission requires SAP then it depends on their policies.
If you work at an agency, then it depends on that agency’s policies. Some are worse than others-I’ve seen some kick people out of the building while others just change the type of badge you have.
Now if you are trying to switch jobs or even projects, it’s sucks because having a clearance in adjudication is almost like not having it to a new company. I got a kick ass role when my clearance was in investigation. By the time my clearance cross over was initiated my clearance moved from investigation to adjudication and the company rescinded their offer because the client would not read me on.
