Resume question I've had three positions over my career one of which lasted 3 months and that I got fired from, the job search took an additional 2 months. Is it worth it to leave the 3 month stint off my resume? It might be easier to explain getting fired then a 5-month gap I was thinking

Hi does schneider Electric layoff people.. How is job security?

Hey guys I have offer from cisco system and checkpoint cyber security . Checkpoint is offering x+5 in base where as cisco is offering similar amount in joining bonus. Overall per year ctc is also differs by 3 lac (y+3) in checkpoint .

So considering recession and mass layoff which one will be right option to select in terms wlb, job security and future growth .

FYI : checkpoint is starting r&d division in India I will be first person to be hired for the same role.

I’ve been on the bench with J1 for about 3 months. I was worried that because I couldn’t find another project, I would get laid off so I found J2, which pays more, is very meeting heavy, but I really like. I’ve kept J1 because I’m still on the bench doing absolutely nothing and getting paid. Thinking about looking for a role on a project with J1 that’s not along my career path but will allow for me to do work with no calls so that I can manage both jobs. Got contacted by a McKinsey recruiter for experienced hire interview (position I applied for) and she connected me directly to the partner due to my domain expertise. Partner liked my expertise and gave thumbs up. What would be the next step? Do I need to go through other interviews (exp/case interviews) still or does this mean process is being expedited since my area of expertise is in demand?

Partners: I’m a sr. associate managing multiple cases without a whole lot of oversight. A few of the cases I am managing are very large, very fast, and very contentious. I try to be as immersed in the details as I can, but can’t know everything. I rely on others to give me accurate and actionable facts. Lately, the actions I have been taking have been based on wrong, inaccurate, or incomplete info. I then get reamed in M&Cs and look like an idiot. [Cont. in comments]
